Hayle Estuary: 1 Common Sandpiper, 90 Curlew, 5 Oystercatcher, 3 Little Egret and 5 Med Gulls on Ryan’s Field at high tide. Also 5 Black Swan, pr Shelduck with 5 young and 10 Little Egret on Lelant Saltings. (MJ Spicer) 2 Common Sandpiper, 2 Whimbrel, 119 Curlew, 1 Mallard duckling. Also 1 Great Black-backed Gull observed taking and eating a Shelduck young, leaving 4 alive. (R Veal)
