Late News, 23/07, Carn Kenidjack: 1 Common Rosefinch on track to Carn Kenidjack (SW392332)  at 16:00 hrs seen feeding on Privet seeds with Linnets for c2 minutes, before flying off, and not seen again. (R Phillips)

Pendeen seawatch 06:00- 08:00: 3 Sooty Shearwater, 1 Balearic Shearwater, c16,800 Manx Shearwater including a partial albino with white bases to outer primaries on right wing, 31 Fulmar, 78 Common Scoter, 1 adult Bonxie, 26 Kittiwake, 3 juv Med Gull, 1 Swift all west. Also c20 Common Dolphin, c8 Bottle-nose Dolphin. Manx sample counts of 130/minute first hour, 150/minute second hour. (D Flumm) Also 2 Great Shearwater, (07:30-12:30); also 2 Cory’s Shearwater, 1 Balearic Shearwater, 3 Sooty Shearwater and 2 Storm-petrel.

Marazion: 2 (prob juvenile siblings) Peregrine seen to attack a Dunlin together but it flew off as they squabbled between themselves. Also 35 Sanderling, 10 Dunlin, 3 Ringed Plover, 1 Turnstone on the beach and 1 Coot on Longrock Pool. (R Veal)
