Lizard Point seawatch (17:00-19:00): 24 Great Shearwater, 7 Balearic Shearwater, 24 Fulmar, 8 Great Skua, 18 Kittiwake, 9500 Manx Shearwater, 2 Razorbill, 33 Sooty Shearwater, 1800 Gannet, 1 Puffin, 4 Storm Petrel. Also present: Great Black-backed Gulls, Lesser Black-backed Gulls, Herring Gulls, Cormorants and Shags. (T Blunden)

Towan Head, Newquay: Big Manx Shearwater passage am,1 – 200/min and many Gannet. Also 2 Sunfish and the male Common Scoter still close to point. (M Lammas)

Porthgwarra seawatch (06:00-11:00): 20 Storm Petrel, 4 Great Shearwater, 13 Sooty Shearwater, 5 Balearic Shearwater, 14 Common Scoter, flock of 13 Black-tailed Godwit, 18 Curlew, 2 Pomarine Skua, 3 Bonxie, 1 Med Gull. C60 Common Dolphin, 5 Harbour Porpoise and a probable Risso’s Dolphin.
