Rinsey Head to Trewavas Cliff: 2 Chough (1 unringed), 1 Peregrine Falcon, 1 Kestrel, 1 Wheatear, 2 Whitethroat. On rocks: 40+ Kittiwake (inc 3 juv). (J St Ledger)

Mousehole: 1 juv Mediterranean Gull, c30 Common Dolphin in 7 widely scattered pods and 1 pod of 3 Harbour Porpoise closer inshore. (D Flumm)

Porthgwarra cove seawatch (07:00-09:30): 1 Cory’s Shearwater east then later back west, 2 Sooty Shearwater, 6 Great Skua, 2 Mediterranean Gull. Also 3 Fin Whale, c100 Common Dolphin, 2 Risso’s Dolphin, 3 Harbour Porpoise and at least 1 Atlantic Bluefin Tuna. One of the Fin Whales eventually departed west but the other two were present for the duration of the seawatch, all at c2 miles range. (D Flumm, J Lawman et al)

Roseland, Nare Head: 2 Chough in aerobatic flight over Paradoe Cove. Also variety of butterflies at Nare Head point. Painted Lady, Gatekeeper, Small Copper, Large White, Silver-studded Blue all present in small numbers. (D Hall)
