Lands End 08:30 – 12.30:1000+ Manx Shearwater, 10+ Sooty Shearwater, 6+ Balearic Shearwater, 2 Great Shearwater, 1 Storm Petrel, 1 Bonxie, 2 Chough, 2 Minke Whale, 12+ Common Dolphin. (P & C Leigh) Also 2 Chough, 50+ auk sp. (raft), 100’s of Manx Shearwater, 6 Fulmar, 2 Kestrel, 15 Tree Pipit perched together on wires, 1 Wheatear(m), 1 Stonechat(m), 2 Painted Lady, 3 Small-Pearl Bordered Fritillary. Porthgwarra 06:25-10:30: 9 Great Shearwater, 2 Cory’s Shearwater, 7 Sooty Shearwater, 1 Balearic Shearwater. Also 2 Pied Flycatcher, 2 Spotted Flycatcher on wires below Doctor’s garden; 1 Tree Pipit, 3 Yellow Wagtail, 15 Wheatear, 1 Sedge Warbler at Trevean Pool and 1 Grey Squirrel running across the moor. St Levan: Dotterel south over Raftra at 1655hrs, appeared to drop down into fields above St Levan church. Also Pied Flycatcher, 5 Spotted Flycatcher, 2 Whinchat, 32 Tree Pipit, 13 Wheatear, 15 Yellow Wagtail, 4 Willow Warbler 2 Dunlin, 12 White Wagtail in the Pothgwarra/St Levan area (M Wallace)

Mount’s Bay: 1 Balearic Shearwater.

Stithians Reservoir: Green Woodpecker heard, 3 Heron, 3 Cormorant, 7 Pied W/Tail, Kingfisher, 18 Little Grebe, 25-30 mainly Goldfinch with some Chaffinch, all from north end. 6.30 – 7.30 am (R Hampshire)

Davidstow Airfield: 2+ Black Redstart.

Hayle: 1 Knot, 4 Black-tailed Godwit, 4 Sandwich Tern, 2 Wigeon, 2 Gadwall (D Eva)

Carbilly Tor: 3 Spotted Flycatchers, 1 Common Redstart (m), 3 Chiffchaff, 1 Wheatear (juv), 2 Kestrel, 1 Green Woodpecker. (K Dalziel)

De Lank Water Works: 2 Yellow Wagtails (1 adult, 1 juv) with ponies, 1 Chiffchaff, 1 Snipe.(K Dalziel)

Newquay, Little Fistral /Towan Head: 1 Ringed Plover, 1 Redshank, 42 Turnstone, 35 Oystercatcher, 1 Curlew, 2 juv Raven, 1 Sandwich Tern, 2 Wheatear, 1 Razorbill, 1 Peregrine Falcon. (S Grose)
