Late news, 20/9 Downderry: 2 Arctic Skua, 9 Common Scoter and a 1w Yellow-legged Gull. (A Payne)

Devoran: 1 Osprey viewed from Quay. Mobbed by crows at 7.40am and retreated to favoured tree. (J St Ledger) 2 Osprey (one with blue ring on left leg), 1 Spotted Redshank, 1 Garganey, 60+ Teal, 9 Greenshank, 3 Sandwich Tern late morning. (J St Ledger, J Cope, S Votier)

Davidstow: 2 Juv Buff-breasted Sandpiper still on the airfield east of the control tower, also Snow Bunting over. (P Roseveare, L Langley) Snow Bunting in the afternoon still by the masts. (per R Treeby) Also 3 Wheatear, 6 Dunlin and 6 Ringed Plover. (B Field)
Davidstow Airfield is an active airfield and we have been reminded that there is NO freedom to roam here and that cars must NOT drive onto the airfield at all. We have been advised that we can WALK onto the grassy areas, but not the runways. Cars should be parked alongside the road. Failure to comply, could lead to access being withdrawn altogether.

Sennen: 1 juv Buff-breasted Sandpiper still in ploughed field east of A30 and c200m south west of Escalls Chapel, cSW369266.

Lizard Point: A probable Yelkouan Shearwater past early morning. (I Maclean)

Crowdy Reservoir: Spotted Sandpiper still present on north shore c400m east of the car park but mobile. (L Langley, R Treeby) Also a Common Sandpiper there. (B Field) and a report of a Wryneck at the style leading to the reservoir. (per B Field)

St Levan: 2 Dotterel flying around N of St Levan church at 14:10. (M Wallace)

Lower Bosistow: 1 Dotterel flew over, presumed one of St Levan birds. (K Wilson)

Penlee Point: 1 adult dark phase Arctic Skua sat close in also 1 Sooty Shearwater, 20 Sandwich Tern, 7 Commic Tern, 8 Kittiwake and 3 Mediterranean Gull. (C Buckland)

Hayle Towans, (Gwithian, Upton, Mexico): 3 Raven 1 feeding on Guillemot carcass on beach, 3 Wheatear, 1 Meadow Pipit, 1 Kestrel and 1 Stonechat (J Evans)

Torpoint: 1 Osprey this afternoon.

Trevose Head: 17 Arctic Skua 17, 1 Pomarine Skua, 4 Great Skua, 4 Balearic Shearwater, 1 Fulmar and 1 Great Northern Diver plus a good passage of auks, gannets and kittiwakes. (T Codlin)

Landulph Marsh: Osprey sighted very close at 10:50, also 3 Greenshanks, 4 Whimbrel, Curlew, 2 Dunlin, 3 Wigeon, 7 Sandwich Tern, 2 Blackcaps and 4 Black-tailed Godwit. (C Hannaford)

Kelynack: Firecrest in a private garden. (C Moore)

Pendeen Watch: 1 Leach’s Petrel, 3 Sooty Shearwater, 4 Great Skua, 4 Arctic Skua and 6 Balearic Shearwater between 08:00 & 10:00. (N Fowler) Also Grey Phalarope reported this morning.

Gannel Estuary: 1 Curlew Sandpiper, 5 Dunlin, 3 Barwit, 1 Med Gull, 1 Kingfisher, 10 Little Egret. (S Rowe) Also 1 Dipper at sluice gate from boating lake. (S Grose)

St Clements: 5 Cattle Egret on the estuary late afternoon. (M Jones)
