Marazion: Avocet still on the beach ranging from east of Red River mouth to Longrock, 45 Sanderling, 5 Dunlin, 5 Whimbrel, 1 Bar-tailed Godwit, 1 Common Gull, 2 Black-headed Gull, 1 Mediterranean Gull (1s) and 6 Sandwich Tern offshore. Polmanter Farm, Halsetown: 2 Red Kite over fields then flying east at 07:30. 2 more flying low over hill and field  at 07:40, joined at 07.45 by 5 more stayed until 08:00 then gradually drifted east – last being at 08:10. 2 low over freshly cut fields at 10:50 then sharing thermals with resident buzzards – flew off east by 11.00. Bowithick: 2 male Redstart, 1 Spotted Flycatcher, 1 Mistle Thrush, 1 Cuckoo calling, 1 Buzzard, Robins, Great Tits, 3+ Blackcap, 5 Willow Warbler, Chaffinches, Swallows (although fewer than previous years), 1 Marsh Tit carrying food into nest in dry-stone wall, Jackdaws and Carrion Crows.
