Dobwalls: Hummimgbird Hawkmoth, several Ringlet, 1 Gatekeeper and 1 Silver-washed Fritillary all in the garden (C&J Duffy)

Bodmin Moor (Alex Tor – base of Brown Willy): 4 Lesser Redpoll (Fernacre Farm conifers), 7 Willow Warblers (family party), 1 Coal Tit, 2 Stock Doves, 1 Kestrel, 20+ Meadow Pipit, 12+ Wheatears (some still feeding young; several males with moulted tail feathers), 2 Greenfinch, 1f Stonechat. Dragonflies: Broad-bodied & Four Spotted Chasers, Keeled & Black-tailed Skimmers & Golden Ringed. Damselflies: Large Red, Azure, Blue-tailed & Beautiful Demoiselle. Pair adult Palmate Newts with several small young. Frog croaking. (J Hawkey & K Dalziel)
