Boscregan: c640 Chaffinches migrating south this morning (09:30-11:00) with most joining those already on the ground but some carrying on. Also 1 Brambling, 10 Golden Plover south and a Merlin chasing the Chaffinches. (N Wheatley)

Bude Marshes: I Water Rail, 1 Grey Heron, 80+ Mallard, 1 female Wigeon, 2 Cormorants, 4 Moorhens, 2 Blue Tits, 1 Blackbird, 2 Mute Swans. (H Kendall)

St Gothian Sands NR: Stonechat,  32 Moorhen, 10 Coot (highest count I’ve ever had on the reserve), 1 Curlew, 28 Tufted Duck, 2 Wigeon, 18+ Teal, 5 Black-headed Gull, 1 2w Med Gull, 1 2w Common Gull, 2 Great Black-backed Gulls, 5 Little Grebes, 2 Mute Swan, 2 Canada Geese, 381 Herring Gull, 1 Cormorant, 2 Kestrel, 6+ Carrion Crow, 25 Jackdaw, 1 Raven, 6+ Dunnock, 8 Meadow Pipits, 2 Pied Wagtails, 6 Mallard, 4 Snipe, 1 Water Rail, 6+ Blackbirds, 2 Fieldfare and a Great Northern Diver flew very high west over the main pool.
