Goss Moor: Crossbill over the cycle track. (B Bosisto)

Bodmin: 1 Sand Martin briefly hunting low over field with 2 Swallows, 3 Swift display flighting, 1 Song Thrush, active Great Spotted Woodpecker nest in a derelict pole (3 previous nest holes visible). Number of Speckled Wood butterflies seen. (R Hurrell)

Whipsiderry: 6 Corn Bunting, 7 Stonechat (including juveniles), 2 Raven, 3 Linnet, also 1 Golden-ringed Dragonfly, 1 Green Hairstreak, 1 Meadow Brown, 1 Small Tortoiseshell and 1 Red Admiral. (R Lee + T Mills)
