Late news, 3/8, RSPB Scillonian Wildlife Cruise, Penzance to Wolf Rock: 53 Herring Gull, 2 Great Black-backed Gull, 1 Lesser Black- backed Gull, 106 Manx Shearwater, 2 Fulmar, 3 Cormorant, 1 Peregrine Falcon, 350 Gannet, 1 Mute Swan, 1 Great Skua, c12 Bottle-nosed Dolphin, c 20 Common Dolphin. Wolf Rock to Scilly: 20 Shag, 5 Great Black-back Gull, 2 Manx Shearwater, 30 Gannet, 5 Storm Petrel, 1 Fulmar, 1 Ocean Sunfish, 2 Risso’s Dolphin, 58 Common Dolphin, 20 Harbour Porpoise. Scilly to Wolf Rock: 24 Herring Gull, 4 Sandwich Tern, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 6 Shag, 61 Great Black-backed Gull, 65 Gannet, 1 Manx Shearwater, 1 Grey Seal, 1 Basking Shark, 56 Common Dolphin. Wolf Rock to Penzance: 151 Gannet, 24 Manx Shearwater, 1 Sooty Shearwater, 1 Storm Petrel, 1 Fulmar, c1500 Herring Gull gathering in Mount’s Bay, 8 Common Dolphin and 1 unidentified Cetacean sp. Pendeen: 08:00-09:00: distant large Shearwater sp, 10 Common Scoter, Med Gull, reasonable passage of Manx Shearwater. Also 2 Wheatear (1 juv), 2 Rock Pipit.  (A Hartley)

Drift Reservoir: Pectoral Sandpiper still in the NW corner, 3 Green Sandpipers, 2 Common Sandpipers 1 Dunlin, 3+ Little Egret, Grey Wagtail + juvs, Pied Wagtails + juvs, 2 Grey Heron, Mallards, Canada Geese, 1 Sand Martin & 1 Swift in amongst the Swallows, 1 Muscovy Duck, 2 Black Indian Runner Ducks (?).  (A Hartley)

Goss Moor: a total of 115 new birds ringed. Birds of interest included 4 Willow Warbler, 4 Chiffchaff, 66 Blackcap, an incredible 28 Garden Warbler, 2 Sedge Warbler and 2 Reed Bunting. (P Roseveare)
