Late news, 31/12, Newlyn: Herring Gull (R61:M) is a Herring Gull that was ringed as a pullus on the Calf of Man on 23/6/15, It has BTO metal ring GR98885. There were 10 sightings of this bird from Bray Harbour in Wicklow, Ireland, between 11/9/15 and 11/9/16. We also had a report from Mark Grantham who saw it at Swanpool, Falmouth on 22/1/18. (R Veal)
