Late news, 30/6, Southerly Point, Lizard: Three French-ringed Kittiwakes present amongst loafing non-breeding birds (T Thirlaway). Two of the birds were ringed as chicks in France in 2016 and 2017 but the third bird is yet to be confirmed.  Anyone else seeing groups of loafing birds is asked to check them carefully for colour rings (two and a metal ring on one leg and three on the other leg), reporting them to the news team or chairman@cbwps.org.uk

Late news, 30/6, Charlestown: 1 Zebra Finch (probable caged escapee). (N.Best)

Hayle Estuary RSPB: ad sum plum Pacific Golden Plover relocated to Copperhouse Creek at 11.20, then flew towards Carnsew at 13.10 where it settled again. (B Craven, M Elliot) Carnsew Pool: Also 5 Mediterranean Gull. (S Grose) Ryan’s Field: Franklin’s Gull at full tide, amongst a flock of black-headed gulls, alongside a Mediterranean gull. The bird was present from 6:45 until 7:10 at least. (M.Goddard, S.Goddard). Also Barnacle Goose again.

Polgigga, Bosistow Lane: 1 European Bee-eater on wires, but no sign since it flew towards Rafta Farm. (M Wallace, J Ryan)

West Pentire: probable adult Rose-coloured Starling in flight on track near Bowgie Inn car park briefly.

Bude Headland: Ravens. (N Bastin)

Par Beach: 2 Reed Warbler (stream area), 9 Pied Wagtail (5 adult 4 juv), 108 Black Headed Gull (inc 11 juv), 4 Cormorant, 7 Carrion Crow. (R. Barlow)

St. Gothian Sands LNR:  Little Ringed Plover at noon. (S Kolodziejski)

Otterham: Red Kite drifted over Otterham Station towards Hallworthy  at 1455 hrs. (M Worden)

Truro: 25 Swift over town at 7 pm. (P Fraser)

Land`s End: 3 Puffin together, and ad Mediterranean Gull west through the Longships this morning.

St Gothian Sands LNR: Adult summer plumaged Pacific Golden Plover again today. (R Augarde – video) The bird was seen to fly off towards St Ives at about 07.30 and not relocated. (S Rogers et al)

Hayle Estuary RSPB, Lelant Saltings: Pacific Golden Plover relocated this evening off Old Quayhouse from 20:00 to at least 21:15. (P St Pierre, M Spicer) Also 1 Common Sandpiper, 1 Black-tailed Godwit. (R Veal)

Devoran Quay: 7 Mediterranean Gull, 168 Black-headed Gull, 5 Curlew, 7 Redshank. (S Grose)

Botallack: 3 fledgling Wheatear with adults. (S Williams)

Croft Pascoe/Goonhilly Downs: 2 Grasshopper Warbler singing, 1 Tawny Owl calling, 2 Crossbill, 1 Siskin, 10 Skylark, 2 Goldcrest singing, 1 Moorhen, 5 Chiffchaff, 2 Willow Warbler. (J Evans)

Maer Lake: 1 Wood Sandpiper showing well but distant, 4 Black tailed Godwits, 2 Lapwing, 1 Dunlin, 1 Ruff with low water level and good muddy margins, at least 2 Moorhens with juveniles, numbers of Swallow and Sand Martin. (H Kendall, M Bryne)

Marazion beach: 1 Common Gull and 8 Mediterranean Gull. (P St Pierre)

Stithians Reservoir: 4 Lapwing, 1 Curlew. Also Reed Bunting, Whitethroat, Linnet all feeding young (D Eva)

Praa Sands Beach: 4 Mediterranean Gull. (S Grose)
