Greenland White-fronted Goose update: The bird photographed with an orange neck collar at Marazion Marsh on 1st November has a fascinating and quite unbelievable story. Falmouth, Pendennis Point: 39 Common Scoter (9,16,14), 2 Great Northern Diver, 1 Black-throated Diver, 35+ auk sp., 75+ Kittiwake, 8 Mediterranean Gull, 20 Black-headed Gull all west between 08:20 – 09:20. Also 8 Great Northern Diver in the Carrick Roads, with Stonechat, Whimbrel etc on the point. Swanpool Point: 2 Ringed Plover, c10 Turnstone, 1 Whimbrel, 1 Curlew, with 1 f Common Scoter close offshore, 2 Mediterranean Gull. Swanpool: 10 Mute Swan (2ad 8imm). (D Chaney)

Lanner Green: 1 Firecrest, pair Blackcap, pair Bullfinch. (R Hampshire)

Carrick Roads from Loe Beach: 18 Black-necked Grebe, 1 Black-throated Diver, 3 Great Northern Diver, 8 Red-breasted Merganser. Also 2 Great Spotted Woodpecker (1 male, 1 female), 2 Mistle Thrush, 10+ Redwing in trees behind beach. (J St Ledger, I Lewis) (Images taken by I Lewis from canoe).

College Reservoir: 3 Cattle Egret roosting on the island at s end, 15:30 to dusk with c25 Cormorant and 1 Grey Heron, 140+ Canada Goose, 58 Tufted Duck, 6 Pochard, 50+ Coot, 1f Gadwall, 1m Wigeon, 4 Moorhen, 2 Great Crested Grebe, 10+ Redwing. (D Chaney)

Sennen Cove to Lands End via cycle track: 2 Stonechat, 1 Grey Wagtail, 2 Kestrel, 1 Buzzard, flock of c30 Plover species over heading North, 2 Song Thrush, 1 Chough feeding at Mayon Cliff’s. (Ringed bird:- right leg from bottom red/yellow/turquoise. left leg red, black & white stripes). (D King)

Brew Farm near Sennen: 1000 – 2000 Starling early afternoon. (D King)

Polgigga, Ardensawah Farm: c500 Starling late morning. Roskestal Farm: 5,000 – 10,000 Starling around mid-day. (D King)

Drift Reservoir (members only): 1 Whooper Swan, 1 Greylag Goose, 2 hybrid geese, 1 f Goldeneye, small number of Wigeon but mobile. 3 Great Crested Grebe one with a large fish which it was unable to eat. (D King)

Newlyn: 1 Great Northern Diver outside Harbour. (D King)

Marazion Marsh RSPB Reserve: 2 Little Egret, 6 Grey Heron, 4 Stonechat, Kingfisher, 2 Water Rail (heard) all from east end of reserve late afternoon. (D King)

Rosenannon Downs: 1 Short-eared Owl, 4 Tawny Owl, 13 Snipe (S Grose).

Land’s End: 3 (f) Reed Bunting, 1 Short-eared Owl. (S.Cox)
