Cirl Bunting Update 2011
South Cornwall’s Cirl Bunting population has increased dramatically, and with it the amount of young reared. This summer the populations shot up to 28 pairs. Not only have we seen an increase in the breeding activity, but the birds have been extending their range. It is a massive task to collate the thousands of bird records that are received by the Society each year. You can help by using the new system that creates records formatted so that they can easily be merged into to the Society database. Details can be found on the Submitting Records page.
