Late news 26/9 RSPB Scillonian Cruise: Penzance to Wolf Rock: 1 Sooty Shearwater, 1 Manx Shearwater, 155 Gannets, 1 Guillemot, 1 Wheatear, 2 distant Shearwaters plus 1 Harbour Porpoise and 7 distant Dolphins. Wolf Rock to Penzance: 5 Sooty Shearwaters, 1 Balearic Shearwater, 8 Manx Shearwaters, 79 Gannets, 2 Fulmar, 4 Auks and 5+ Risso Dolphins. (B Craven & D Curtis)

Hayle Estuary RSPB: 1 Kingfisher at Copperhouse Creek 4 Med Gull and 2 Little Egret on Carnsew Pool, Black-tailed Godwit, Curlew Sandpiper and Clouded Yellow butterfly on Ryan’s Field, 3 Med Gull, 11 Golden Plover, 4 Greenshank and 4 Common Buzzard at Lelant Water.
