Hayle Estuary RSPB: 3s American Royal Tern (metal ringed, form maximus) on Lelant Saltings from 08:35 to 09:00, before it flew out into the bay. (M Halliday – finder et al.) Relocated later on Carnsew Pool at c10:37 before again flying back into the bay at 10:43. (M Elliott, P Taylor et al.)

Lizard Point: 1 Cory’s Shearwater reported flew past this am, also probable imm Pomarine Skua.

Cot Valley: juv. Iceland Gull still in field to South of valley.

Newquay, Towan Head: c100 Manx Shearwater per minute, also a few Gannet. (M Lammas)

Mount Hawke: 1 Hummingbird Hawk Moth 09:30. (P Roberts)

Lower Tamar Lake: 1 juv Willow Tit demanding food, shaking its wings etc, the adult was gathering food in the same tree, also 1 Willow Tit on the feeder. Also 4 Tufted Duck 3m 1f, 4 Great Crested Grebe, 2 Goldfinch, 4 Mute Swan, 1 Grey Heron. (R Mudge)

Tywardreath: 2 Chaffinch (Male and Female in courtship display and 4 instances of mating); 4 Blackbirds (Male and Female ground feeding 2 young from feeder spill). (R. Barlow)

Hawkers Cove: 1 m Grey Partridge in field behind the old lifeboat stations. Lellizzick : 2 Juv Raven. Gunver Head / Fox Hole: 2 Peregrine Falcon m&f feeding on wood pigeon, remains of 4 other birds littering the cliffs. (S Grose)
