Late news, 14/7, Trerulefoot: Immature female Wood Duck at Bake Lakes, on lake north of reception. This is a private commercial fishery, but access may be granted if requested at reception, probably best not to try at weekends as it can get quite busy. (K Pellow)

Late news, 16/7, Whipsiderry: 1 Tawny Owl, 2 Corn Bunting heard in separate fields, (possibly 2 prs breeding in the 3 designated fields). (S Grose)
