Siblyback Lake: 2 Wood Sandpiper seen this morning at the north end of the reservoir. (M Phillips) 2 Wood Sandpiper, 1 Green Sandpiper, 7 Common Sandpiper and 2 adult Yellow-legged Gull this evening. Also c40 Swallow on nearby wires and 3 Green Woodpecker viewable from dam. (P Kemp)

Perranporth: Female Goshawk, as large as a Buzzard, flew fast and low through the dunes today pursued by an army of noisy Crows, continued south until out of sight. (T Wilson)
