Hayle Estuary RSPB: 2 Great White Egret at 07:20. (B Mellow) One Great White Egret still present at 07:55-08:00 when it flew off south. (L Proctor, I Webster) 1 Great White Egret early afternoon. Drift Reservoir: Great White Egret flew from the Newlyn direction at 08:34 and landed in the NE arm of the reservoir at 08:43. Also 6+ Little Egret, 6+ Grey Heron, 3 Green Sandpiper, 1 Greenshank, 3 Common Sandpiper, 2 Gadwall, 1 eclipse male Tufted Duck, 1 Mute Swan, 1 Kingfisher, 14 Cormorant, 3 Great Crested Grebe, 1 Snipe, 1 juv Grey Wagtail, 1 Wheatear, 2 Bullfinch, 1 m Blackcap, Willow Warblers and Chiffchaffs. Lizard Village: Rosy Starling still present plus 4+ Yellow Wagtail and 3 Tree Pipit over early. Also 1 Merlin. (M Pass)

Davidstow: Buff-breasted Sandpiper and Curlew Sandpiper still present early morning.

Porthgwarra: 2 Sooty Shearwater, 1 Great Skua, 1 Red-throated Diver, 1 Bar-tailed Godwit, c250 auk sp and c100 Kittiwakes between 07:00 & 10:00. Also 1 White Stork, possibly with a tracking device attached to back over the cove at 11:00, then chased off east by corvids plus 2 Wheatear, 1 Willow Warbler and 1 Yellowhammer around the valley in the afternoon. Downderry: 10 Grey Herons noted flying off the sea at 0705. Plenty of Manx Shearwaters feeding well offshore with a few Bottle-nosed Dolphins. Moving west were a Red-throated Diver, 17 Kittiwakes, 2 Mediterranean Gulls, a Common Gull, 3 Common Scoters and 130 Gannets all before 08:00. (A Payne)
