Lockdown Listing Saturday 9th May

Middlewood: At least the Mistle Thrush appeared this week but still a quiet [Big Garden Sit] hour for species. Green Woodpecker calling an hour earlier. 3 Song Thrushes competing for loudest song which blocked out many others.
(Jen Bousfield)

Lostwithiel: A passing Little Egret puts me up to 44. (Eddy Mayhew)

Coverack: Swift for 61 today. 27 on the big garden sit, highlights Sedge Warbler and Stonechat. (Dan Beadle)

Constantine: Did the sit this morning. A measly 24. Many of the birds that were regularly visiting the feeders have now gone presumably to nest…. for example no Bullfinch, Long tailed tits, Jays. Highlight probably Siskins again. Handsome male on feeder first thing. (Tim Pinfield)
