Loe Pool (Penrose): 3 Bittern, 23 Mediterranean Gull, 4 Cattle Egret, 2 Firecrest,1 Siberian Chiffchaff, 2 Raven, 4 Goosander, 2 Little Egret, 3 Goldcrest, 1 Mistle Thrush, 16 Redwing, 1 Grey Wagtail. (I Grant & F Were) In addition, about 10 Redwings in ivy and holly; some behaving oddly and possibly inebriated. There are reports of redwings and blackbirds getting drunk on berries, including holly berries, especially once the berries have been frosted which causes damage and allows yeasts to start the fermentation process.
