Late news, 16/8, St Ives Island: 1 Great Shearwater, 1 Cory’s Shearwater, 1 Arctic Skua, 1 Common  Scoter, 3 juv. Med Gull, 1 Swallow, 2 Kestrel, 10+ Kittiwake. (D Northside)

Also 1 Harbour Porpoise and 3 Common Dolphin. Wolf Rock to Hugh Town: 7 Fulmar, 2 Great Shearwater, 315 Manx Shearwater, 8 Sooty Shearwater, 4 Storm Petrel, 338 Gannet, 2 Shag, 1 Great Skua, 6 Kittiwake, 14 Herring Gull, 35 Great Black-backed Gull and 4 Oystercatcher. Also 21 Common Dolphin. Porthgwarra, 16:00-18:30: 2 Sooty Shearwater, 6 Storm Petrel, c80 Common Dolphin, c6 Harbour Porpoise, (presumed) Bluefin Tuna, breached clear of water, large, dolphin sized, dark blue above, pale silver below lateral line. Also 9 Black-tailed Godwit (over), 4 Whimbrel and 3 Wheatear on the moor. (G Wyatt)
