Late news, 17/10, St Ives: Brent Goose in the harbour, 4 Mediterranean Gulls flew into bay past the island at 12.30. (C Richards)

Cot Valley: Subalpine Warbler on the right of the tarmac track to Hendra on the top of the bracken slope SW3633 3048. Still present late morning at least but elusive. (P Roseveare et al.) Lesser whitethroat top off the valley. (S Turner)

Lizard Point (07:45-09:30): 2 CY 1 Long-tailed Skua, 2 Arctic Skua, 1 Balearic Shearwater, 4 Manx Shearwater. (I Maclean)

Long Rock: Great White Egret on Long Rock beach flying towards Penzance at 13:15. (K.Robinson)

Constantine: 4 Cattle Egret at Polwaltha Farm.

Drift Reservoir: 2 Cattle Egret, plus Yellow -browed Warbler in wood below car park.

Porth Reservoir: 6 Great Crested Grebe, 22 Coot, 4 Grey Heron, 1 Sparrowhawk. (S Grose)
