St Keverne: I have reached the 40 species milestone with a neat Nuthatch in our ash tree! (Helen Norton)

22nd June

Wadebridge: I have now clawed my way to 37! Odd, since I live in a pretty wildlife-friendly place. My latest addition was a Marsh Tit then a Greenfinch – hardly a rarities but not common in my garden. I can count Red Kite though – one sat in my trees a few weeks ago. (Simon Marquis)

19th June

Lostwithiel: Lovely male Siskin puts me up to 47. (Eddy Mayhew)
