Lockdown Listing Tuesday 12th May

Hayle: House Martin & Long-tailed Tit are the new additions over recent days. (Martin Lenney)

Little Kirland: Red Kite – so now 47.Cheers. (John Macadam)

Tregidden: Total 42. New additions Red Kite and Blackcap. Shame I missed the Kingfisher and Little Egret seen by my neighbours. (Bob Nicholls)

Tresillian: The influx of Red Kites brought in one that drifted low and lazy over the garden, bringing up my 50.

The house is undergoing building work at the moment so is not habitable, except by a pair of Pied Wagtails who are nesting in the dining room, while a pair of Grey Wagtails moved into a new outhouse from where three young fledged on 11 May. More conventionally, Linnets are nesting in the shrubbery and a pair of Goldfinches in a bay tree. Photos attached. (Andrew le Masurier)

Crowlas: Back to work tomorrow, on my last day of lockdown listing proper, I managed to get the best bird of my entire lockdown list as I connected with an Osprey moving North, that I had been alerted to as it was found over Chyandour. Pleased with my total of 65 for the period, only 18 shy of all-time house list. (Reuben Veal)
