Gunwalloe Fishing Cove: Great Reed Warbler singing in the reed bed at 06:15 seen well but elusive, visible from the stone footbridge at SW 66092067. Also 2+ Cetti’s Warbler, 3+ Reed bunting, 1 Kestrel, 2 Moorhen, 2 Mallard, 1 Sedge Warbler and 6+ Reed Warbler. Please note this is a sensitive ringing site and area, park only in the NT car park at SW 659208 and view from here or the beach road. DO NOT enter the golf course or the surrounding farmland. Marazion Marsh RSPB: 10 Grey Heron, 1 Little Egret, 1 Cormorant, 5 Mute Swan, 2 Canada Geese plus 1 gosling (also 10 flew over heading west), 2 Greylag, 9 Mallard, drake Shoveler, 4 Moorhen (plus 1 young), 5 Reed Bunting, c30 Swift, 12 Swallow, 2 House Martin, Reed Warblers, Sedge Warblers and 5 Cetti’s Warbler.
