Kingsmill Lake:Lesser Yellowlegs probably present since 30 Nov 2011, but always very distant. View from China Fleet Club nature trail far hide SX427608, best looked for on the dropping tide. Stithians Reservoir:7 (4m, 3f) Reed Bunting, 1 Water Rail under feeders and 1 f Great Spotted Woodpecker on peanuts in the southern cut off. 6 Goldeneye (1 m), 1 Great Crested Grebe, 150+ Lapwing, 9 Snipe, 1 Gadwall and 2 f Goosander on the main reservoir. (D Jenkins)

Stithians Reservoir:1 Bar-tailed Godwit. (D Eva) Also 4 Gadwall and 6 Snipe. A Sparrowhawk flew in and caught a Snipe. As it took off, it sat on the Snipe to push it underwater to drown it. Luckily for the Snipe a Crow attacked the Sparrowhawk and it flew off, the Snipe then popped up and flew away. (BirdForum)
