Late news, 30/6, Southerly Point, Lizard: Three French-ringed Kittiwakes present amongst loafing non-breeding birds (T Thirlaway). Two of the birds were ringed as chicks in France in 2016 and 2017 but the third bird is yet to be confirmed.  Anyone else seeing groups of loafing birds is asked to check them carefully for colour rings (two and a metal ring on one leg and three on the other leg), reporting them to the news team or

Hayle Estuary RSPB: ad sum plum Pacific Golden Plover relocated to Copperhouse Creek at 11.20, then flew towards Carnsew at 13.10 where it settled again.
