Porthgwarra valley: adult male Ortolan sunning itself on boulder seaward end of wall across moor flew east calling until out of sight near “Three Chimneys” cottage 09:40hrs. Also 2 Grey Heron, 6 Tree Pipit over, 13 Common Whitethroat, 4 Willow Warbler, 4 Wheatear. (D Flumm)

Nanjizal: 224 ringed birds ringed (us 3 controls) including 114 Sedge Warbler, 22 Whitethroat, 15 Reed Warbler, 13 Grasshopper Warbler, 15 Blackcap,19 Willow Warbler, Firecrest and 1st y male Bluethroat.
