Redruth: This afternoon a male Sparrowhawk sat in the corner of our garden waiting for small birds to return to the feeders. It waited until they were back and then flew across the garden not 2 inches over the ground and took a Pied Wagtail underneath the feeders. It then returned to the corner to devour its catch.
