Late News 24/01 Upper Fowey: Red Kite, circling above Higher Langdon, Draynes Valley at 10:00. Then drifted south. (M Rule)

Late News 27/01 Hayle Estuary RSPB: Ad Med Gull was seen from causeway and a Black Swan was on the estuary near Tempest. (D Jenkins)

Marazion Marsh RSPB: 8 Mute Swan (including 4 juv), 16 Mallard, 22 Teal, 3 Little Grebe, 1 Cormorant, 1 Little Egret, 1 Grey Heron, 11 Moorhen, 1 Coot, c10 Snipe. (D Parker)

Newlyn: Black-necked Grebe and Great Northern Diver still in the harbour and Slavonian Grebe off Sandy Cove.

 Treen Common: 4 Lapland Buntings but mobile and elusive at cSW446364.

Helston: Siberian Chiffchaff at the sewerage works still.
