Tregoss Moor: “Bursting with Fieldfare and Redwing. Difficult to count as they were milling about. One mixed flock of c150 seen. Also 2 pairs of Stonechat, 1 male Bullfinch and 1 Kestrel”. (N Climpson)

Pendennis, Falmouth: Kestrel hunting and 3 ad Med Gulls flew out into the bay first thing, c.80 Fieldfare flock on the top, plus Chiffchaff the highlights. Half an hours seawatching produced good numbers of Kittiwake with several flocks of 50 west into the bay, a few Gannets and 5 smart Black-tailed Godwit flew past the point and into the Carrick Roads. Porthgwarra: 3 Balearic Shearwaters and a Great Northern Diver by 09:00.

Pendeen: 16 Balearic Shearwater, 5 Sooty Shearwater, 3 Great Skua, 3 Great Northern Diver and 1 Black-throated Diver by 09:20. Balearic Shearwater and Great Skua between 12:00 and 13:00 plus 4+ Firecrests late afternoon.

St Levan: Richard’s Pipit in fields to the west late morning and afternoon plus c10 Lapland Buntings to the NW at 16:15.
