Devoran, Tallack’s Creek: 1 Curlew Sandpiper, 3 Knot, 27 Black-tailed Godwit, 53 Redshank, 120 Curlew, 43 Dunlin, 19 Oystercatcher, 1 Whimbrel at high tide this morning plus Osprey from the Quay – attempted to fish at 12.30, successful catch at 13.00. (A Nicholson)

Hayle Estuary RSPB: Semipalmated Sandpiper on the north side of Carnsew basin, 1 Knot, 2 Common Sandpiper, adult Pale-bellied Brent Goose,52 Wigeon and 2+ Kingfisher on the main estuary. Scillonian Crossing:  This evening from Scilly to Penzance were 1 Great Skua, 1 Sooty shearwater and a few Balearic shearwaters. Plenty of dolphin sightings during trip. (G Motley)
