Truro: 1 Leaf Warbler sp. in private garden in Stratton Terrace. Did not look bright enough for Yellow-browed Warbler and the white primary edgings were not there. The eye stripe looked paler and more worn than Yb or Greenish and the wing bar looked more pronounced than the Greenish but less so than the YB. I thought there might have been a suggestion of a second wing bar but the glimpse I had was so fleeting that I am not certain. The bird was in sight for less than a minute. It went into a Liquidamber tree and then over to a Willow and was in plain sight for about 30 secs. All I can definitely say is a Leaf Warbler. (D Jenkins)
