Hayle Estuary RSPB: 5 Common Sandpiper, 2 Sandwich Tern, 2 Redshank (ad and juv). (R Veal) Hobby over towards St Erth at 12:50, broods of 2 & 5 Shelduck ducklings and 2 Black-tailed Godwit. (DK Parker) Also wholly unconfirmed report of a Purple Heron on the ebbing tide.

Crowlas: 1 Nuthatch, second record in 5 years. (R Veal)

Woongumpus Common: 1 Hobby catching dragonflies at 16:15 then drifted off SW. (P Clement)

St Merryn: 1 Tawny Owl heard, 1 Barn Owl near the Cornish Arms. (S Grose)
